A great success for Patient Safety Week 2018!
in Information campaigns
Posted on 12/03/2018
Throughout the week, more than 500 people (patients, visitors and professionals) took part in raising awareness of healthcare safety at La Casamance.
The Identitovigilance Unit began with a quiz for users and professionals on identity errors, wearing the bracelet and the various ways of checking identity to avoid mistakes.
The quality/risk management department was available to discuss undesirable events and the results of assessments with users, as well as in the care departments with medical and paramedical professionals.
The operational hygiene team informed participants about the correct use of antibiotics, the flu vaccination campaign and, of course, hand hygiene techniques using the famous "cuckoo box".
An information stand was set up to inform visitors and professionals about patients' rights, with videos and a quiz on the trusted support person, advance directives and palliative care.
The Pharmacy Department had a stand throughout the week on various topics related to the medication circuit: anticoagulants, medication reconciliation, safety of medication management, etc.
Posters on Quality and Risk Management were on display in the hall, and a fun online quiz was available to everyone.
Thank you for attending and taking part in these awareness-raising events!
