World Blood Donor Day
Posted on 06/13/2019Today, 14 June, is World Blood Donor Day.
In France, 10,000 blood donations are needed every day to treat the sick. Blood donations help to treat more than one million patients every year.
Blood products are vital in emergency situations such as haemorrhage during childbirth or in the event of an accident.
They can also be used to meet chronic needs (cancer, blood diseases).
So we're counting on you to donate in large numbers!
A blood drive will be held on Monday 17 June from 12 noon to 5.30pm at the Salle du Prado in Aubagne.
