Dr David Gonnelli is an aesthetic surgeon specialising in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. After being head of clinic at the university, he now practices in the south of France. Followed by many viewers on France 4 at the start of his career in the series Médecins de demain, he is also co-author of the book Ma bible des questions santé by Jessyca Falour, and a consultant for the website lasantesurtout.com.

"A guide to cosmetic surgery

Scientific, practical and accessible, but also realistic, reassuring and humane, Chirurgie esthétique : mode d'emploi is the first guide to dissect all aspects of cosmetic surgery, from the consultation to the procedure, including the quality of the patient-surgeon relationship, its psychological and ethical aspects, before, during and after the operation. Breast prostheses, liposuction, liGing, rhinoplasty, reconstructive surgery, but also the management of daily life (sport, sexuality, financial aspects, choice of surgeon...): all the areas are approached in a deontological manner and for the first time without taboos in his book.
