National Patient Safety Week

For the 7th year, from 20 to 24 November 2017, the Ministry of Health is renewing Patient Safety Week (PSW).

The 2017 edition aims to promote partnerships between users and healthcare professionals.

Hôpital Privé La Casamance is involved in healthcare safety and is helping to raise awareness among patients, users and healthcare professionals.

Throughout the week, activities will be organised in the hospital's lobby and in the various departments.

Programme:

Tuesday 21 November 2017 - 10am to 4pm - Hall HP La Casamance

The Operational Hygiene Team (EOH) will be organising an event on the theme: "Antibiotics used correctly, everyone concerned!"

Wednesday 22 November 2017 - 9am to 5pm - Hall HP La Casamance

In partnership with user representatives, a team of professionals will run a fun workshop around patients' rights to better inform you: "A law, a charter, our commitment!"

Thursday 23 November 2017 - 2pm to 4pm - Hall HP La Casamance

Pharmacists will be on hand to talk to users and professionals about "generic medicines: countering preconceived ideas".

Exhibition of information panels on the quality and safety of care

The Quality Department will be on hand to answer your questions about "Quality and Safety Indicators for Healthcare (IQSS): what do they measure?
