Specialty surgery

This division groups together several activities: gynaecology, maxillofacial surgery, orthopaedics, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, ENT, spinal surgery, stomatology, urology, vascular and thoracic surgery, visceral surgery and obesity. (see box below)

A broad surgical activity operating on many levels of the establishment.

An outpatient and conventional hospitalisation service, optimising short-term care (RAAC - accelerated rehabilitation after surgery).

An operating theatre grouping together all the organ specialists (digestive, urology, gynaecology, vascular, thoracic, orthopaedic), as well as a number of specialities, including cancer authorisations, robotic-assisted surgery, percutaneous treatment of chronic low back pain using Rhizolysis thermocoagulation, and 3D prosthetic modelling in orthopaedics.

A dedicated "head and neck" surgery unit, as well as cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, and dental implantology with a team attached to the Oroface Centre.

This centre is organised around :

• an emergency department, imaging facilities, a medical presence for each speciality and a wide range of consultations
• 12 operating theatres divided into three operating theatres
• 3 inpatient departments: adult intensive care, continuous surveillance, specialist surgery and an outpatient department (two sites)
