L'Hôpital Privé La Casamance is a leading cancer treatment centre in the region, offering its patients personalised care:

A wide range of consultations, multidisciplinary teams and an imaging centre with a dedicated senology department.
A complete technical platform, with surgical care for breast, thoracic, digestive, gynaecological, ENT and urological surgery. An outpatient chemotherapy service completes the service.
If required, inpatient or outpatient follow-up and rehabilitation care can be continued, with a gym and balneotherapy facilities.

This care is accompanied by a personalised patient care pathway based on :

The announcement process, which includes a medical announcement and treatment proposal, care support and coordination with the patient's GP.
Discussion at a multidisciplinary consultation meeting (RCP), with a standardised RCP form drawn up to facilitate the sharing of information as part of the patient's healthcare pathway.
The development of a Personalised Care Programme (PPS), which formalises the proposed therapeutic management.
Supportive care aimed at improving patients' quality of life. These include psychological support, specific pain management, the services of a relaxation therapist and an onco-aesthetician, support from a social worker, an oncogeriatrics consultation and participation in the "CAP Santé" programme (see below).
The implementation of a Personalised Post-Cancer Programme (PPAC), which takes over from the PPS at the end of treatment.
A multidisciplinary medical and paramedical team that is involved on a daily basis and invests in its patients.

The Hôpital Privé La Casamance is a member of the OncoPACA-Corse network and uses the e-RCP tool to manage RCPs as part of the implementation of the Dossier Communicant de Cancérologie (DCC). The professionals involved in your care are bound by professional secrecy and the confidentiality of your information. The implementation of e-RCP was declared to the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés or CNIL on 05/05/2017 (declaration no. 2032529 v1). CAP Santé programme (Fight, Act, Share for Health)

Having cancer often raises many questions, worries and sometimes even a feeling of loneliness or helplessness. The CAP Santé programme teaches you how to live with the disease by preserving your health as best you can, despite the sometimes long and difficult treatments. You will learn how to adapt your diet to combat the risk of malnutrition. You will be able to maintain or discover a physical activity suited to your abilities. You'll also have the opportunity to share and exchange views with other patients and healthcare professionals on all aspects of your illness and its consequences. Finally, you will discover different relaxation techniques to improve your well-being and comfort.

Prerequisites and practical details

For all newly-diagnosed cancer sufferers undergoing treatment and follow-up;
Prescription for the sessions from an oncologist, referring surgeon or general practitioner;
Medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to physical exercise;
2-hour sessions (2 sessions per week);
Registration with the chemotherapy secretariat or directly online;
