As part of your treatment at Hôpital Privé La Casamance, we collect data directly from you (and/or your family in certain cases), which is necessary for your safety, the organisation and quality of your treatment, and the billing of your care. This data may be in electronic or paper format.

This data is of an administrative nature (gender, date and place of birth, place of residence, contact details, information about your status as an insured person, etc.) and of a medical nature (terms and conditions of treatment, antecedents and allergies, administration of medication or care, monitoring of your state of health, etc.). It is entered into specific software to ensure your medical follow-up and is kept for a period of 30 years. Only doctors and other staff at the hospital who need the information for administrative or medical purposes have access to it. The staff of subcontractors responsible for catering, stretcher transport and building maintenance have access to restricted information. Some information is also sent to doctors outside the hospital who are involved in your care (for example, your GP or a biologist). The data is hosted either on the establishment's servers or by the service providers supplying the software. No data is stored or sent outside the European Union. We take great care to ensure their security.

In accordance with the regulations, you have the right to access your personal data in order to check its accuracy and, if necessary, to rectify, complete or update it, the right to object to its use, the right to request its portability or deletion and the right to limit its processing.
